About

Product Undefined is a product-led venture driven by me and supported by a trusted network of designers, engineers, and researchers.

My name is Jannis Busch. I lead product direction end to end — from early problem framing and user research to delivery — bringing in the right collaborators as projects take shape.

I previously worked at a large pharmaceutical company, where I drove AI initiatives supporting medical research. That experience shaped my view on AI in professional contexts: systems need to be transparent, accountable, and designed for people who remain responsible for decisions.

This perspective carries through all work at Product Undefined. AI is treated as part of the interface — a way to reduce friction between intention and action — while human judgment stays central. Projects usually begin with open, no-strings conversations to explore ideas and constraints. If something proves meaningful, a focused project is set up — resulting in a finished product, not a prototype — delivered together with an AI-supported pipeline that keeps maintenance low and systems understandable over time. From Levin to PDF Accountant and beyond, the domains differ, but the principle stays the same: build products where humans and AI collaborate without loss of clarity or control.
